I'm Back.... Maybe

Hello all,

Man has it been a long time. Seven years actually. I guess I haven't blogged for a lot of reasons - One being that I don't travel as much. So my blog name doesn't fit as much.... Although I am going to London next month.

I think I might be changing the topic of my blog. I know most people aren't interested in yet another disastrous dating blog - but man that's the main topic of my life. The main thing I'm going through. It is HARD out there y'all.

I just realized I need an outlet to share my thoughts. Maybe this will be my outlet. Maybe not - hit me up and let me know if you are game for my nonsense. HA!

Best day in Paris so far!      Elyse and I left at 930 for the Catacombs, and who should I see in line? My senior year French 2 Student teacher, Mr. Schelagel! I feel bad, but I don't know how to spell his name. I was shocked. Who expects to see someone from Boise, Idaho who was your teacher traveling abroad? He was on the phone and asked for me to hold on for a second. Elyse headed to the back of the line to hold our spot. I waited as he got off the phone. It was crazy. I couldn't get over the fact that I was seeing someone I knew in Europe! He introduced me to his wife and two other family members. He asked why I was in Europe and I told him I was studying and told him about Utah State and the Interior Design program. I also told him about how my french has declined after he asked me about it. London Day Nine- Bath

Today was really good. I loved visiting Bath again! It is pretty much exactly how I remember, except no painted animal statues. We arrived in Bath to start our short trek to the Roman Baths. I didn't get to do this last year so it was something exciting and new to visit. I have to say though I wasn't completely impressed. I mean it was cool to imagine what it looked like in its glory days and to hear what the people of Bath believed, but compared to the Greek baths not all that exciting. There was a waterfall with steaming hot water that was pretty dang cool! Where the water flowed there was orange sulfur ruminates that grew. It caste the coolest glow on the water and ceiling.  I was really impressed with how beautiful that was. I also enjoyed the rooms with the mosaics because for me they held the most artistic aspect of the baths. I then made my way to the main pool that is now green from algae, because it is no longer covered like it was back in the day. The surface was rath...

My 5 Drawings

So as today rolled in my study abroad journey came to a close. Today all the assignments were due and all the work was done. It was a great summer and full of work. I'm proud of everything I did and I hope you like it as much as I did. But I wanted and needed to share my top drawings with you. Thanks for taking this journey with me!
